The Chalet School Academy Improvement Board (AIB)

The Academy Improvement Board (AIB) will act as committee of Brunel. AIB members, although not all Trustees, act at local level on behalf of Brunel with delegated responsibilities. The AIB will be accountable to the Brunel Board of Trustees and replaces the Local Governing Committee (LGC).

The purpose of the AIB is to provide support and challenge to the school on behalf of Brunel. It will achieve this through providing strategic direction at a local level and by promoting and achieving high standards and improved educational outcomes. The AIB will take on the role of governance of the school from the LGC.
